Watchman held for raping dancer

June 4 (TNN) CHANDIGARH: Cops have arrested 37-year-old watchman Hari Singh of Industrial Area, Phase-II, for allegedly raping a 28-year-old dancer on Thursday night. The victim alleged that the accused forcibly held her captive and committed the crime. Cops said the girl managed to escape from Phase-II house and she reported the matter to PCR cops. Medical examination confirmed the rape allegations. The accused belongs to Nepal and he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. A case was registered in Sector-31 police station.
